Even with the cancellation of the Pac-12 football season in the fall, Arizona and head coach Kevin Sumlin have stayed busy on the recruiting trail.
Late Tuesday night, Arizona received a commitment from 6-foot-1 and 170-pound wide receiver Kyion Grayes from Chandler High School.
Unlike the other commitments Arizona has received over the past few months, Grayes is not part of the 2021 recruiting cycle. He is the first recruit to commit for the 2022 recruiting class.
As of right now, Grayes is an unranked recruit according to 24/7 Sports. However, Grayes chose Arizona over Michigan State, Miami and UCLA among others.
During the 2019 season, Grayes lead Chandler in receptions with 43 and receiving yards with 805 as the Wolves went on to with the Open Division state title.
