Back on Aug. 11, the Pac-12 followed the Big Ten in postponing all sports until the start of next year. Thursday afternoon, the Pac-12 conference held a meeting to discuss the fall/winter sports seasons’ relaunch.
As expected, the conference will begin preparing for a seven-game regular season that will kickoff Nov. 7 with a conference title game on Dec. 18 to end the regular season.
The season will end just in time for the Pac-12 to be a part of the selection for the NCAA college football playoffs, which is on Dec. 20.
Thursday’s meeting was also to discuss the potential of starting both men’s and women’s basketball on Nov. 25 instead of the first of next year.
The Pac-12 voted to move forward with the NCAA recommended start date of Nov. 25 for all winter sports.
