GOLF RANKINGS

This is how the golf rankings for Southern Arizona stand at this point with the final day of qualifying set for next Friday, Oct. 16 for Division II and Oct. 23 for D-I. Golfers and teams need at least six rounds to qualify for the state tournament.

The Top 12 teams will automatically qualify for state and the next 18 golfers not attached to a qualified team will earn a berth for a total of 78 golfers. That means a minimum of 312 golfers will be competing at the OMNI Tucson National, depending on split days between golfers for round two.

Catalina Foothills starts competition today. The girls took third place last year.
