Arizona has had its struggles on defense over the past few years, to say the least, and have seen changes at the defensive back coach position with coaches rotating in and out.
Now, with a whole new defensive staff, it’ll be up to new defensive back coach Greg Burns to help establish a new mindset on the defensive side of the ball and with his position group.
Even with all the players that have left the program by entering the transfer portal, coach Burns will have some experience in his position group with Christian Roland-Wallace, Jarrius Wallace, Bobby Wolfe, and Lorenzo Burns, who lead the team in interceptions last season.
Friday night, the local media had a chance to talk to coach Burns and senior corner Lorenzo Burns talked about the new defensive system and the upcoming season.
