Arizona Women’s Basketball: Press conference with Adia Barnes and Players

Arizona and coach Adia Barnes are trying to prepare for the 2020-21 college basketball season that starts on Nov. 25 in a world filled with the unknown due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

As Arizona inches closer to its season, more accolades have come rolling in with star guard Aari McDonald receiving national recognition and junior forward Cate Reese making watch lists as well.

The spotlight is on the whole team, and it will begin the season ranked at No. 7 in the preseason AP poll for the first time in school history. It is the first time the program has been ranked in the top 10 to start a season.

The local media had a chance to talk to the team and find out how things are going in practice.
