For the second year in a row, the Salpointe Lancers will advance to the Open Division semifinal round but this year the advancement is due to a COVID situation with No. 3 Saguaro causing the Sabercats to forfeit the quarterfinal match scheduled for this Friday.
In addition, Benson is the top seed in the 2A playoffs and the Bobcats will also advance of the semifinal round with No. 8 Morenci needing to forfeit due to COVID issues.
