UA adds NMSU to schedule to replace UTEP game

Arizona went about 45 miles west to find a team to replace the cancelled game with Texas El Paso.

Arizona tweeted out that it has scheduled a game with New Mexico State on Dec. 12 at McKale Center. The time of the game has yet to be determined.

It was speculated – here actually – that Arizona could set something up with the Aggies given they’ve been in Phoenix because of strict COVID-19 restrictions placed by the New Mexico governor. They plan a five-week stay in Phoenix to get their schedule started.

NMSU played a game over the weekend against Arizona Christian. NMSU won to extend it’s winning streak to 20 consecutive wins.

It plays tonight vs. Benedictine Mesa.
