Arizona Wildcats stay hot on recruiting cycle landing athlete Anthony Simpson

Arizona coach Jedd Fisch and his staff are busy, hitting the recruiting trail hard right after picking up a commitment Friday from safety Isaiah Taylor, who is the son of Jason Taylor, former Miami Dolphins defensive end NFL Hall of Famer.

Friday night got even busier for Arizona as Anthony Simpson a 5-foot-11 180-pound athlete out of Bloomfield (Conn.) High School, announced his decision to commit to Fisch for the 2021 recruiting class. Simpson is an unranked recruit according to 24/7 Sports.

Simpson chose Arizona over UConn, Wagner and Central Connecticut State among others.

The commitment gives Arizona six new commitments in a class that has already signed 15 players and has welcomed four transfers to the program. National Signing Day is right around the corner Feb. 3, to finish the 2021 recruiting cycle.
