Former Marana standout Baylee Slaughter was named a Scholar-Athlete by the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC). Slaughter is a junior playing basketball for Arizona Christian.
Former Sabino and Pima standout Travis Walker also made the GSAC Scholar-Athlete list playing for Arizona Christian.
This list will be updated all year in an effort to recognize all former local prep stars who have gone on to achieve either academic and/or athletic awards at the next level.
