For the first time in NCAA women’s basketball history, the national title game will feature two teams from the Pac-12 in Arizona and Stanford.
During the season, Arizona and Stanford had faced off twice, with the Cardinal winning both games by an average of 20.5 points. The Wildcats hung around for most of the game before losing 62-48 in the second game.
The program will square off in the final game of the season in front of a national spotlight to see who will be crowned champions.
