Jessie Harper signs with USSSA Pride

After finishing a five-year career at Arizona, shortstop Jessie Harper will be continuing her softball career with the USSSA Pride, who signed Harper Wednesday afternoon.

Harper will join former Wildcats Alyssa Palomino-Cardoza and Chelsea Goodacre on the team. Palomino-Cardoza was added to the USSSA Pride roster Tuesday afternoon.

During her time at Arizona, Harper tied the school record for home runs at 92, tying hitter Katiyana Mauga and finishing second for the all-time NCAA softball record behind Oklahoma hitter Lauren Chamberlain

Harper finished her Arizona career a four-time All-American and a four-time All-Pac-12 player. While with the Wildcats, she played and started in 263 games while batting .339 with 92 home runs, 255 RBIs and 282 hits. She accumulated a fielding percentage of .969.
