Delaney Schnell pulled off one of the best performances for an American since Laura Wilkinson took fifth place in the 10-Meter Platform in the 2004 Olympics. Quan Hongchan of China won gold with 466.20 points, Chen Yuxi of China won silver with 425.40, Australia’s Melissa Wu took bronze with 371.40, Gabriela Agundez Garcia of Mexico scored 358.50 for fourth place and Schnell came in with 340.40 points.

2016 Olympian Jessica Parratto teamed up with Delaney to win the silver medal in the Women’s 10-Meter Synchro Finals last week in Tokyo. This was the first-ever medal for Team USA in 10-Meter Synchro.
