— Sunnyside QB Deion Conde, a junior, passed for 91 yards and two touchdowns to lead visiting Sunnyside to the win over former Arizona linebacker standout Byron Evans, who is in his second season coaching South Mountain.

— QB Brayden Cherry, a junior, completed 6 of 14 passes for 114 yards

— RB Brady Beltz, a senior, rushed three times for 65 yards

— CB Elias Santana, a senior, had a 95-yard INT return for a TD

— QB Elijah Joplin, a junior, completed 10 of 14 pass attempts for 121 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions. to lead Marana to a 2-0 record in the new coach Philip Steward era. Joplin also rushed five times for 48 yards and three touchdowns.

— RB Matthew Jensen, a junior, ran eight times for 83 yards with a touchdown.

— WR Dezmen Roebuck, a freshman, had six receptions for 89 yards.

— LB Troy Fox, a senior, led Marana with eight tackles, one for loss.

— Vista Grande rushed for 457 yards with five players gaining 67 or more yards.

— RB Andrew Gonzalez, a junior, had nine carries for 75 yards and one TD

— WR Miguel Moreira, a junior, had three catches for 113 yards

— WR Dylan Carrillo, a sophomore, had four caches for 73 yards

— Empire QB Miles Kinney, a senior, completed 15 of 35 passes for 191 yards with one TD and one INT

— WR Jacob Puentes, a senior, caught six passes for 55 yards and a TD

— WR/S Hyrum Tanner, a junior, caught five passes for 79 yards and also had 10 tackles

— LB Braden Peglow, a senior, tallied 15 tackles

— LB Jake Lambert, a senior, had 13 tackles

— Sabino QB Cameron Hackworth, a sophomore, completed 18 of 22 passes for 189 yards with two TDs and one INT and rushed for 138 yards on 14 carries.

— WR Savaughn Berryhill, a sophomore, had five receptions for 57 yards and a TD

— CB Kamden Gambrell, a senior, tallied 11 tackles

— LB Levi Miranda, a senior, also had 11 tackles

— LB Mason Cade, a sophomore, had seven tackles, two of them sacks

— RB/CB Kiko Trejo, a senior, rushed for 137 yards on nine carries and had five TDs including a 46-yard interception return.

— QB Ryan Fontaine, a senior, had a 28-yard rushing touchdown and threw TD passes of 43 and 19 yards.

— WR Bubba Mustain, a sophomore, had 43-yard TD reception

— WR Bryce Jewell, a junior, had a 19-yard TD reception
