Fall Soccer: St. Augustine moves to 2-0 with win at The Gregory School

St. Augustine blanked The Gregory School 3-0 Tuesday to improve to 2-0 for the first time in program history and the future looks bright for both programs.

The Wolves collected 22 shots against the Hawks but freshman goalie Brendan Richey was up to the challenge with nine saves and held the St. Augustine attack at bay until moments into the second half. An own goal put the Hawks down 1-0 in the 41st minute and then Enrique Ruiz hit Narciso Villa to make it 2-0 in the 67th. Jose Aboyte put the game away in the 78th with a shot in front of the goal….
