Pusch Ridge standout Paige Housman announced her commitment to swim for Kentucky on Tuesday. Housman won the Division III 100 Free state championship last year and she took second in the 200 Free to help lead the Lions to a second place finish as a team.

In addition, Housman was part of two relays (200 Medley and 400 Free) that took second place at state. She was the Southern Arizona Freshman of the Year in 2019 after she brought home two runner-up finishes and two third place finishes.

Housman has the third best time in the 50 Free this fall regardless of classification and she leads D-III in the 50 Free and the 200 Medley.

Housman was named a Scholastic All-American Team by USA Swim on Monday.
