Kiya Dorroh, who helped lead Sabino High School to the 2019-20 state championship, has announced she is transferring to Colorado State after entering her name in the transfer portal from Missouri on March 23.

Dorroh, a 6-foot-1 guard/wing who recently completed her freshman season at Missouri, made the announcement via Twitter:

She was a reserve with Missouri, averaging 1.1 points and 1.0 rebounds in 27 games this season.

Dorroh averaged 15.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.3 streals per game when the Sabercats won the 3A state championship in 2019-20. She played her sophomore and junior seasons at Sabino after playing at Tanque Verde High School as a freshman.

She played her senior season for AZ Compass, a prep school in Chandler, where she was a teammate of Arizona’s Madison Conner early in the 2020-21 season.

Dorroh is transferring to a Colorado State program that finished 21-12 overall and 9-9 in the Mountain West Conference this season.

The Rams lost to UNLV and former Sahuaro standout Alyssa Brown in the Mountain West tournament championship before losing to Portland in the first round of the WNIT.
