Arizona now sits at 0-2 on the season after Saturday night’s lackluster performance in the first half leading to a 44-27 Washington victory.
It won’t get any easier for Arizona as it now has to travel to the Rose Bowl to take on a 1-1 UCLA team that came up four points shy of pulling off the upset of No. 11 Oregon in Eugene.
Under coach Kevin Sumlin, Arizona is 2-10 on the road and falling behind early in games by an average of 23.7 points. Here’s Sumlin on how his team can improve on its road struggles, and he gives his thoughts on the current nine-game losing streak:
