Arizona softball: press conference with Mike Candrea

Mamba AZ Basketball tArizona has started the season 10-0 after sweeping both the Hillenbrand Invitational and the Wildcat Invitational despite losing one of its key players in second baseman Reyna Carranco to a broken thumb on her throwing hand.

During the 10-game winning streak, the Wildcats have run-ruled eight of those games and have outscored the competition 89-12 while clobbering 20 home runs.

Former Tucson High Badger Carlie Scupin has been leading the way for the Wildcats in her freshman season hitting .375 with a team-leading five home runs and has smacked in 17 RBIs, which is second on the team.
