Arizona looked to have the potential for a strong frontcourt for the 2021-22 season with the addition of Gonzaga 7-foot transfer Oumar Ballo with the players who were already on the roster including Azuolas Tubelis, Christian Koloko and Jordan Brown.
That frontcourt for former Gonzaga assistant Tommy Lloyd was weakened Monday afternoon when Brown, who is the reigning Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year, entered his name into the transfer portal, according to Jeff Goodman.
Arizona forward Jordan Brown is in the transfer portal, a source close to the portal told me. The sophomore averaged 9.4 points and 5.2 rebounds last season. Former McDonald’s All-American who started his career at Nevada.

The Wildcats will have to replace Brown’s 9.4 points and 5.2 rebounds off the bench and have a total of five scholarship spots open after the transfer.
Brown started his college career during the 2018-19 season at Nevada before transferring to Arizona. If he keeps his name in the portal, he will play for three different schools over four seasons.
Arizona has already lost Terrell Brown Jr. (Washington), Jemarl Baker Jr. (Fresno State), Ira Lee (George Washington) and James Akinjo (Baylor). Tibet Görener and Daniel Batcho have also entered the transfer portal.
Arizona’s tentative 2021-22 roster includes:
Bennedict Mathurin, wing
Dalen Terry, guard
Azuolas Tubelis, forward
Tautvilas Tubelis, forward
Kerr Kriisa, guard
Christian Koloko, center
Oumar Ballo, center
Shane Nowell, guard (Class of 2021 signee)
Dylan Anderson, forward (Class of 2021 commit)
