Tuesday morning Arizona and head coach Tommy Lloyd landed guard Adama Bal for the 2021 recruiting class. Bal is the second player in the class, along with guard Shane Nowell who signed during the Sean Miller era but has kept his commitment to this point in time.
Bal is a 6-foot-6, 180-pound combo guard from Paris, Fr., playing for INSEP Paris, an institute with a strong focus on sports.
Top international basketball prospect Adama Bal has committed to Arizona, he told ESPN. The 6'6 French guard with a 6'11 wingspan will be the eighth international player on Tommy Lloyd's roster next season. https://t.co/I1os1Tbpgz

“Coach Tommy Lloyd and his staff were the key,” Bal said during a recent interview with ESPN’s Jonathan Givony. “He recruited me at Gonzaga and offered me the first day on the job at Arizona. He showed me how much he wanted me every step of the way.”
Here’s a highlight video of Bal playing in France:
Bal chose Arizona over Gonzaga, Colorado and Cincinnati, among others.
Lloyd is regarded as one of the top international recruiters in the game, and with the addition of Larsson, the Wildcats now have eight international players on the roster.
