Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep power forward Craig Victor committed to Arizona earlier today.
He picked the Wildcats over LSU and Oklahoma State. Victor averaged 14.1 points 11.3 rebounds and three blocks per game on 60 percent shooting from the field while at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans. He is transferring to Findlay this season.
The 6-foot-8 Victor is currently No. 21 in Rivals.com’s rankings and No. 31 in ESPN’s.
Arizona has a history of prospects from Findlay, a nationally-recognized power, including junior guard Nick Johnson and sophomore forward Brandon Ashley. Former UA power forward Eugene Edgerson, a member of the 1997 NCAA title team, hails from St. Augustine.
