Art Luppino
Anthony Gimino of TucsonCitizen.com writes that Art Luppino has gained 10 rushing yards this week despite playing his last game with Arizona 57 years ago. The Arizona football media guide lists the “Cactus Comet” as having 3,371 yards, but Gimino noticed the NCAA record book lists Luppino with 3,381. Blair Willis of the UA athletic department’s Communication Services office verified through research that Luppino rushed for 3,381 yards.
