Arizona Wildcats basketball legend Sean Elliott will begin commentating on college basketball games starting Sunday when USC visits UCLA at Pauley Pavilion in the Pac-12 opener for both teams.
The network announced the assignment via Twitter tonight.
Elliott, Arizona’s career scoring leader with 2,555 points, has served as a commentator for San Antonio Spurs broadcasts since his retirement from the NBA in 2001 after 12 years in the league.
He is one of 14 athletes or personalities who have ties with Arizona who broadcast sports nationally or regionally. Four of Elliott’s former teammates — Steve Kerr, Kenny Lofton, Matt Muehlebach and Tom Tolbert — are also broadcasters.

b-Steve Kerr also broadcasts the NCAA tournament, including the Final Four and championship games on CBS.
Note-Terry Francona was a commentator for ESPN before re-joining baseball as the manager of the Cleveland Indians.
