Arizona Wildcats Class of 2014 recruit Stanley Johnson was interviewed in the above video after Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei’s victory over Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco and Class of 2015 recruit Tyler Dorsey. Dorsey was interviewed in the video to the right.
Johnson, who will play on national television Monday, reportedly had a highlight-reel windmill dunk in Mater Dei’s 62-47 victory over host Anaheim (Calif.) Servite Friday night.
Mater Dei (18-0) next travels to the Spalding Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass., where it will play against Philadelphia Neumann-Goretti on Martin Luther King Day on Monday. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU at 2:30 p.m. Tucson time.
Two other Arizona recruits — Class of 2014 power forward Craig Victor of Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep and Dorsey, a combo guard — will also compete in the Hoophall Classic.
Johnson, who averages 25.9 points a game, scored 26 points to lead Mater Dei over Servite (8-11) Friday night. Arizona’s Class of 2016 target, center M.J. Cage, son of former NBA player Michael Cage, had 17 points, 16 rebounds and three blocked shots for Mater Dei.

Victor led Findlay Prep over host Huber Heights (Ohio) 56-44 Friday night before traveling to Springfield for the Hoophall Classic. Findlay (21-3) plays Monday morning at 8:30. It will face High Point (N.C.) Wesleyan Christian Academy on ESPNU.
Victor had 12 points and three rebounds for Findlay in its win over Huber Heights. He is averaging 12.6 points and 8.1 rebounds a game.
Dorsey, a five-star recruit who committed to Arizona last week, plays today for St. John Bosco against Baltimore’s St. Frances Academy in the Hoophall Classic. The game (3 p.m., Tucson time) will be broadcast live on TheBasketballChannel.net.
Arizona’s Class of 2014 point guard recruit, Parker Jackson-Cartwright had 12 points and seven assists in Los Angeles Loyola’s 65-47 victory over La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis on Friday night.
Parker-Cartwright averages 13.1 points, 7 assists and 3 steals per game. His next game is Monday night at Encino (Calif.) Crespi High School.
Another Class of 2014 recruit, Hutchinson (Kansas) Junior College shooting guard Kadeem Allen, plays tonight at Seward County College in Liberal, Kansas.
Allen has 1,085 points for his career. He is 17 points away from moving into the career Top 10 for Hutchinson, which has one of the top junior-college programs nationally. He leads the Blue Dragons with 28.2 points per game.
