Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez takes over Keanu Reeves’ role in “Speed”. Efforts to get Nick Saban to be the villain played by the late Dennis Hopper were unsuccessful, but Matt Dudek, Arizona’s recruiting coordinator, filled in fine.

#LovePlayingFast as meaningful as #HardEdge these days.

Arizona’s spring practice has become with uncertainty at positions that fuel Arizona’s need for speed.

Thursday and Friday night lights for the Wildcats in 2014.

Sean Miller was quite the perimeter shooter at Pittsburgh:

Nick Johnson is close to becoming Arizona’s seventh Pac-12 Player of the Year, following Sean Elliott, Chris Mills, Damon Stoudamire, Mike Bibby, Jason Terry and Derrick Williams.

One down, three to go symbolizes the Pac-12 regular-season title followed by the Pac-12 Tournament championship trophy, NCAA regional championship trophy (Final Four) and national championship trophy.

If only Twitter had a “thumbs up” button.

Longtime Seattle sports reporter/columnist Bud Withers does not agree with Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott that a Pac-12 Network would have saved Washington from missing NCAA tournament two years ago.

Things could get interesting next week at the Pac-12 tournament involving Arizona’s fans and Larry Scott, which is precisely why I think it was a good thing he was not around last night when the Wildcats celebrated their regular-season Pac-12 title. Scott has nobody to blame but himself for this nonsense. He should have soothed things over with Sean Miller before the season started.
