For #ArizonaWildcats to win against a physical OSU team despite a season-low two rebounds by Aaron Gordon says a lot http://t.co/Mi3h9N3TXK

Arizona coach Sean Miller and junior guard Nick Johnson appear destined to earn Pac-12 coach and player of the year honors, respectively, marking the sixth time that has happened in the same season.
For Miller, it will already be the second time in his five seasons at Arizona. He and Derrick Williams achieved the honors in the 2010-11 season.
Lute Olson won Pac-10 coach of the year honors in the same year a Wildcat took home the player of the year trophy in 1987-88 (Sean Elliott), 1988-89 (Elliott again), 1992-93 (Chris Mills) and 1997-98 (Mike Bibby).
Johnson’s probable selection as the player of the year means Arizona will have the most such honors in the Pac-12 since the Wildcats joined the conference in 1977-78. Arizona, which went without a player of the year from 1999-2000 to 2009-10, is currently tied with Cal and UCLA with seven apiece.
The Arizona player of the year honorees:
1987-88: Sean Elliott
1988-89: Sean Elliott
1992-93: Chris Mills
1994-95: Damon Stoudamire (co), earned it along with UCLA’s Ed O’Bannon
1997-98: Mike Bibby
1998-99: Jason Terry
2010-11: Derrick Williams
