Southern Arizona State Girls Cross Country Championships
Jeff Lockwood is now “Dr. Jeff Lockwood” but before he left Sahuaro he left behind a legacy of champions. His four championships from a few decades ago still stand as the most from a coach from Southern Arizona which is fitting considering Lockwood pushed for girl’s to compete in cross country.
Girl’s Cross Country Championships began in 1976.
