Before they met the media, the Arizona Wildcats had mock interviews today. So does that mean, technically, practice has already begun?

FoxSports.com sports reporter Steve Rivera, a veteran in Tucson, gets input from people who know (such as former Wildcat players Heath Bray and Lamonte Hunley) about where Arizona is headed. They admire what Rich Rodriguez has done to this point to rebuild the program.

Former Salpointe Catholic receiver/defensive back Cam Denson is one of eight players from Tucson on the 2014 roster.

Should be an interesting fall camp with plenty of stories to tell. Entering the great unknown.

This picture shows quarterback Nick Isham waiting in line or does it? It does not. Redshirt freshman walk-on quarterback Zach Werlinger wore Isham’s jersey when the team took pictures Friday. Isham, a former Louisiana Tech starting quarterback who transferred to Arizona as a walk-on two years ago, announced he was leaving the team in May.

Two of Arizona’s strengths are its defensive backs and receivers, which should make for some interesting competition during fall camp on pass routes.
