Arizona freshman Anu Solomon completed 22 of 26 passes (an incredible 84.6 percent) against Nevada’s defense.

Solomon is only 727 passing yards shy of breaking the Wildcats’ Pac-10/12 era freshman record of 1,660 set by Ortege Jenkins in 1997.

Samajie Grant’s status is unknown after he was injured in the second quarter after taking a hit. He walked off under his own power.

For the record, Rodriguez’s record at Arizona against ranked teams on the road is also 0-5. The Wildcats travel to Oregon after opening the Pac-12 season at home against California next week.
