An ode to one of the best point guards to wear the Arizona uniform …
[ezcol_1half id=”” class=”” style=””]
Something you’ll rarely, if ever, see: Wisconsin made 10 of 12 three-point attempts in the second half, doubling what it made inside the arc.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson on Wisconsin's second-half shooting: 'They made the impossible happen.'
— Anthony Gimino (@AGWildcatReport) March 29, 2015
Tough way for the talented freshman to go out, having more fouls (five) and turnovers (three) combined than points (six), but he faced the problems like a man.
Stanley Johnson very composed in the locker room after that loss. Answered every single question and didn’t dodge very much.

Sean Miller’s three trips to the Elite Eight, fourth overall in his 11-year career, only signals the start of a very promising career as it unfolds. Not yet 50.
Miller: I'm not going to apologize for going 34-4 & not making Final 4. He shouldn't. Has UA on a plateau where Lute had it in golden years.

Arizona still has a 38-game McKale Center winning streak it must uphold next season. Players like Elliott Pitts, Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Dusan Ristic still have a chance to match Matt Muehlebach as the only players without losing at home during a four-year career.
Much respect for Wisconsin they were terrific. Thank you @APlayersProgram, @UACoachMiller and @iPass4Zona for another phenomenal season!

Some high-profile support …
Congrats to @APlayersProgram on a great season – #Arizona is very proud of you! #Beardown
— John McCain (@SenJohnMcCain) March 29, 2015
Some support from a player who can appreciate how far the Wildcats went after playing in the two seasons with interim staffs during Lute Olson’s leave of absence and retirement.
Props to Wisconsin for hell of a game. Always a proud Arizona Alumni. Great season. #Arizona #BearDown #Tradition

Arizona’s Class of 2017 high-profile recruit is getting a taste of what’s ahead when he plays for the Wildcats
These refs are absolutely killing us

Arizona showed a lot of love and respect between the players and coaches, like family.
#ArizonaWildcats come up short, finish with 34-4 record. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson consoled by Book Richardson. pic.twitter.com/YRLxSeqCVb

An interesting argument but the NCAA tournament always comes down to matchups. Wisconsin or a tough team like it would have come across Arizona this late in March Madness anyway.
Could argue that AZ's undoing was losing to ASU, OSU and UNLV, resulting in #2 seed in Wisconsin's region. Win 1 of those & #1 seed?

Kevin Parrom sums up the feelings of Arizona followers everywhere.
Damn

As does Derrick Williams …
Man we gotta guard that 3 point line smh.
— Derrick Williams (@Derr13k) March 28, 2015
He would likely trade that in to make it to the Final Four.
$$ RT @ByBerkowitz: Arizona coach Sean Miller ends with $295,000 in on-court bonuses. In past two seasons, he has picked up $590,000

Arizona’s combined winning percentage in its Elite Eight five-game losing streak: 84.7 percent.
#ArizonaWildcats records in their Elite Eight five-game losing streak 28-4 in 2003, 30-7 in 2005, 30-8 in 2011, 33-5 in 2014 & 34-4 in 2015

The incoming Arizona football recruit, son of Desert Swarm alumni Darryl Morrison, has some sage wisdom.
Aaron Rodgers is from the West Coast and he's rooting for Wisconsin. Money changes people. Remember where you come from.

McConnell’s fan-favorite status rivals that of Steve Kerr. That’s not an exaggeration and it means a heck of a lot.
McConnell asked if he wants to say anything to fans. Says he loves them, thanks them, starts crying.

Wisconsin’s dream was Arizona’s nightmare.
Great season for @APlayersProgram. Miller is a fantastic coach. Proud of accomplishments. Wisconsin had a game that only happens in dreams.

We now know the way a former Arizona softball great deals with disappointment.
That one hurts… Really does… And that's why I ordered Chinese food to ease the pain
— Taryne Mowatt (@tarynemowatt) March 29, 2015
Is it Arizona’s worst performance? Or most unlucky?
Wisconsin averaged 1.33 points per possession, Arizona's worst defensive efficiency in the last four seasons.
— ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) March 29, 2015
The exact opposite happened after halftime …
More important than Kaminsky scoring 13 pts at half is Dekker/Hayes shooting 3 of 9. Has to continue for #ArizonaWildcats to win #AZvsWIS

Kerr was on hand as the broadcaster for last year’s upsetting loss to Wisconsin in Anaheim.

Positive, only positive …
So proud of my cats. Great work this year men. Best of luck with whatever comes next for this crew. Reload.. next year belongs to the cats!

More praise from a baseball player who won it all a couple of years ago …
Great season guys. Proud to be a Wildcat @APlayersProgram #beardown

Another Rodgers take …
Good to see Wisky alum Aaron Rodgers rooting on his school
