Ever since the end of the regular season last year, Arizona Wildcats junior linebacker Scooby Wright has received more accolades than any other player in the program’s history.
Add to the list his first-team All-American status as released by Lindy’s Sports today.
The news comes on the heels of The Sporting News naming Wright to its preseason All-American team:

The preseason honors add to all the hardware Wright compiled last year: Consensus All-American, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Rotary Lombardi Award, Chuck Bednarik Award and Pat Tillman Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honor.
Look for Arizona to hype Wright as a Heisman Trophy candidate as the season takes shape.
