Empire went 30-5 this past spring to capture the program’s first team championship. The Ravens outscored their opponents 24-6 in the postseason including a 6-3 win over Payson in the Division III state championship game.

Seniors Brittany Woolridge (A&M-Commerce), Tazia Hernandez (Pima) and Bailey Rominger (Pima) have accepted college offers.

Woolridge, Hernandez, Rominger, Jessica Perry, Noelle Kerr and Paige Peryer were named to the D-II All-State Team. Head coach Shannon Woolridge was named State Small-School Coach of the Year.

Woolridge was also named Southern Arizona Coach of the Year regardless of division or school size. Brittany Woolridge and Hernandez were named to the All-Southern Arizona Team regardless of division or school size.

Emma Garbutt was named Southern Arizona D-III Freshman of the Year and she was joined by Emylee Perry on the All-Southern Arizona Freshman Team.
