Russell Halimon ran for 117 yards and three touchdowns in the Bucs’ 49-0 win over visiting Lithia Springs.

The victory set up an important game next week in the Region 5AAAAA race when the Buccaneers travel to South Paulding. A victory would put Allatoona back into contention for the region championship.
After Halimon scored his third rushing touchdown of the night with 9:54 left in the second quarter, his night was over. Halimon finished with a game-high 117 yards on the ground on only 10 carries, and scored on runs of 15, 45 and 21 yards.
Halimon expressed his feelings of the 9/11 tragedy on Twitter before the game:
