Khalil Tate came back in a strong way after last week’s suspension stemming from his role in a fight in the season-opener two weeks ago.
He executed the Cavalier’s hurry-up offense efficiently and scored two rushing touchdowns in a 43-0 win over Carson on Friday night.
Tate finished with 130 yards rushing on 13 carries while going 11 for 21 for 112 yards through the air.
“I came back this week, and once we got the hang of things, we started excelling,” Tate told the Daily Breeze.
