[tps_title]No. 2 Brett Hundley impeccable against Arizona[/tps_title]
[tps_header][/tps_header]
The noticeable constants in UCLA’s three-year run against Arizona under Rich Rodriguez are Jim Mora and quarterback Brett Hundley.
Before Hundley and freshman sensation Josh Rosen arrived at UCLA, the Bruins had quarterbacks of the likes of Drew Olson, Ben Olson, Kevin Craft, Kevin Prince and Richard Brehaut. None of them were NFL material.
Hundley, who never threw an interception against Arizona, had these numbers when he faced the Wildcats:
Passing — 60 of 79 pass attempts completed for 704 yards with six touchdowns.
Rushing — 48 carries for 203 yards and two touchdowns.
Compare those passing numbers to that of Matt Scott, B.J. Denker and Anu Solomon (55 of 101 for 407 yards) and it’s a no-brainer why UCLA is on a 3-0 run against the Wildcats.
Hundley is gone but Rosen looks like he can handle the challenge as a talented true freshman.
