[tps_title]The Nick Wilson barometer[/tps_title]
Is it that simple that when Nick Wilson rushes for more than 100 yards, Arizona wins?
So far, the answer is yes.
The Wildcats are 9-0 when he breaks 100.
During Ka’Deem Carey’s junior season in 2013 he rushed for at least 119 yards in each game but the Wildcats didn’t win them all, finishing 8-5. Arizona lost eight games overall during Carey’s career when he gained at least 100 yards.
The stability at the quarterback position with Anu Solomon is a significant factor in Wilson’s yards carrying more meaning.
Wilson’s running style, aggressive, fierce and with some quickness, is tough for a defense to adjust to. When he gets his yards, it means Arizona is clicking. When Arizona is clicking behind Solomon, it’s hard to stop.
