Oct. 8: Peoria Sports Complex

Seniors from all over the state gathered at the Peoria Sports Complex this morning to try out for the Senior All-Academic Game as part of the AZ Senior Fall Classic taking place this Friday-Sunday.

66 teams will take part in the Classic but less than 60 players made the cut for the All-Academic Game. Besides the tryout, players had to have at least a 3.7 GPA or an ACT score of 27 or higher or an SAT score of 1700 or higher.

Salpointe’s Jose Osete, Ironwood Ridge standout Derek Daly and Sabino’s Jake Lialios earned spots in the game.
