D-VI Football Brackets
Ajo finished the season 6-3 which is the most wins in a few generations. The Red Raiders lost to Gilbert Christian 64-22 Saturday night. Tom Dingman led Ajo to runner-up finishes in 1969 and 1971. Current coach Lonnie Guthrie is in his second year.
Elfrida Valley Union had a first-round bye and the Blue Devils will host Mogollon next Saturday in the quarterfinals.
St. David got past Joseph City 58-14 and will play at Bagdad next week.
