This season two of my colleagues — Steve Rivera of GOAZCATS.com and Anthony Gimino of TucsonNewsNow.com — and I am picking the outcomes of Pac-12 games. Odds listed are of the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas. …
After going 6-0 the previous week, Anthony went 0-5 in last week’s Pac-12 picks — such is the way of life of picking these games.
Rivera went 1-4 with the victory being USC’s cover over UCLA.
With the Pac-12 title game today between USC and Stanford, Rivera (32-20-2) holds a one-game lead over Gimino (31-21-2) against the spread. I am two games behind Rivera with a 30-22-2 record.
Rivera and Gimino differ on the outcome of Stanford-USC. The Cardinal is favored by 4.5 points. Both scribes pick Stanford to win but Steve has USC covering while Anthony believes the Cardinal will win by more than 4.5 points.
I am taking Stanford to win and cover as well. The Cardinal have more riding on the outcome with a possible College Football Playoff berth on the line.
