The Arizona defense played one of its best games in a season, allowing only 17 points and 189 passing yards in the loss. Scooby Wright led the charge with 19 total tackles (a career-high), 4.5 tackles for a loss and three sacks.
“I love him. First of all, I love his name and, secondly, I love the energy that he plays with,” Mora told reporters. “He’s a tremendous player. I love those guys that play with their heart. I love the passion he has for the game. I think he plays the run well, I think he’s a good rusher, I think he can cover. But the thing I most respect about him is the energy and passion he plays with.”
The story goes that UCLA’s coaches told Wright and his parents they would get back to them during the recruiting process but never did.
