Salpointe outfielder Jose Osete committed to Cal State San Marcos late Wednesday night. Osete batted .250 with a double and six RBIs and he also stole six bases for the Lancers.
Osete is the only player outside of California currently listed on the CSUSM roster.
“Thanks to the CSUSM coaches for the opportunity,” Osete said. “I had a great campus visit yesterday and got to scrimmage with the team which was great. It is going to be fun and the location is perfect for my family.”
