DIVISION II WRESTLING
Trey Waltz (138) is the youngest (if you don’t count the little nephew running around the mats) of the Waltz wrestling family of Mountain View. His uncle Mike Hensley took fourth place in 1995, his brother Tanner took second in 2012, his other brother Ty took fifth in 2012 and third in 2013.
Trey took second in 2014 and fifth in 2015 and the family can add a state championship in 2016 to the family trophy case.
His performance, along with teammates Javier Ortiz, Andrew Cota, Frankie Lee and Marcus Castillo, helped lead Mountain View to a third place team finish.
