Canyon del Oro held a special signing day for senior quarterback Noah Soto Wednesday morning. According to head coach Dustin Peace, Soto is the only quarterback to be a multi-year starter in his program over the last eight years.
“This is a huge accomplishment, playing in college is something I’ve dreamed about my whole life,” Soto said.
A mobile quarterback with the flair for finding an open receiver when all seems lost, Soto will take part in an open competition for playing time at ACU. He finished his career at CDO with 4,164 yards passing with 44 touchdowns and 887 yards rushing.
“I tried my best to keep plays alive,” Soto added. “I think it will help me out a lot at the next level.”
