Blair’s Fourth Annual Putt-ing Kids First event upcoming in Tucson

The Blair Charity Group, led by former Arizona standout Joseph Blair, will present its 4th Annual Putt-ing Kids First event, taking place June 10 at Golf N’ Stuff (6503 E. Tanque Verde Road in Tucson). The event is from 6 to 10 p.m.

Contributions help provide resources to the Blair Charity Group and their ability to execute free of charge basketball camps to Southern Arizona youth, through the Arizona Basketball Academy Program. The organization is a 501(c)(3), making donations tax deductible.

The fundraising event consists of many different elements with the mini-golf tournament being the focal point. Each foursome of players will play 18 holes of miniature golf with the top finishers receiving prizes. All Golf N’ Stuff attractions will be open to the attendees, included in the ticket price. The event will consist of a raffle, silent auction, food, games, music, and a beer garden for adults.

“We are excited to hold our 4th Annual Putt-ing Kids First event,” said Joseph Blair, Founder of the Blair Charity Group. “This has become a signature, family event for our organization and the money raised has a direct and immediate effect on the youth of Southern Arizona.”

For individuals that do not wish to participate in the tournament, general admission tickets will be available.

Individual: $50

General Admission:

Adult: $25

Child: $15

Sponsorship packages for Putt-ing Kids First are available at different levels:

Title Sponsor – $5,000
Main Attraction Sponsor – $2,500

The Blair Charity Group serves Southern Arizona youth by offering high-quality programming that promotes teamwork, leadership, and community service in a sports-based setting. The mission of the organization is to develop the youth and young adults of Southern Arizona through accessible programs, sports camps, clinics and leagues that build leadership, life skills and community engagement.

Eighty youth participants of Joseph Blair’s Basketball camp will be present at the event at Golf ‘N Stuff. The award presented to male & female camper of the year will be presented at 8 p.m.

The coaching staff, which will be in attendance, includes Blair and current Wildcat players Parker Jackson-Cartwright, Dusan Ristic and Kadeem Allen.
