Former Canyon del Oro standout infielder Anthony Felix verballed to play for Washington State Thursday night. A member of the 2015 state championship team, Felix will transfer after graduating from Pima next spring.
His sister, CDO senior softball standout Arianna Felix, will be signing with Cal State Bakersfield in a ceremony scheduled for this fall alongside her brother according to their mother Tisha Felix.
“I feel so blessed and my heart is full,” Felix said. “Something that started as a Saturday hobby has changed their lives and given them amazing opportunities! This is proof that hard work and passion pays off.”
Both Anthony and Arianna play second base primarily as does their younger brother, CDO Little League All-Star Dominic Felix.
“We could not be more proud of them and we are so excited that we get the chance to watch them both continue to play at the next level,” Tisha Felix added.
