Nick Johnson is returning to Tucson next week to help teach young basketball players the knowledge he’s gained of the game through his stellar high school career, productive time with Arizona and professional hoops experience.
The Nick Johnson Camp will be held at Salpointe Catholic High School (1545 E. Copper Street) on Aug. 27 and 28. Ages 6-12 will be taught from 9 a.m. to noon and 13-18 from 1 p.m. to 4. The cost is $100 per camper.
Former teammate Kaleb Tarczewski is slated to be a special guest for the camp, which includes instruction and interaction with the players, limited edition Nike Nick Johnson t-shirt, and a picture and autograph with Johnson.
