Ironwood Ridge baseball standout Jacob Allen made a commitment to Cal State San Bernardino on Wednesday morning. He will be signing with the Coyotes next week.
“I am very excited,” his mother Marni Allen said. “This was Jacob’s first choice and he received five other offers. It was a very difficult decision, but the right one for Jacob. He is very excited to play against his fellow teammates Nick Estrella and Jake Engel. His dedication and hard work paid off.”
Estrella plays for AZUSA Pacific and Engel for Dixie State.
Allen batted .467 last year for the Nighthawks with 11 RBIs
