Flourishing as a slot receiver/running back, Williams wants to make the most of Air Force’s 9-3 season with a win in the Arizona Bowl.
“At the end of the day you want to go to the best bowl game possible,” Williams told the Gazette. “The way we played this year, we ended up 9-3 and we’re going to Arizona. Those are the cards we were dealt. We’re grateful that we get to play one more game against a good team. We’re going to go out there and do what we do best.”
Williams moved to Tucson from Los Angeles as a child. A fan of the Lakers and USC, he was familiar with the Arizona Wildcats and attended several games at Arizona Stadium.
“It’s definitely a great environment,” Williams said. “I’m excited to be able to play on that field. It’s going to be a good time.”
