With ESPN’s College GameDay in Tucson for Arizona-UCLA, the network reached out to the Cleveland Cavaliers for some help.
The Cavs, with the recent addition of Derrick Williams, have three former Arizona Wildcats. Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye earned rings last season for the NBA champs.
In a taped segment, Jefferson had the mic and dominated the conversation, suggesting a friendly bet on the game with teammate and former UCLA Bruin Kevin Love.
Jefferson had the line of the day, saying that if UCLA wins he would let Love “hang out in my practice gym … wink.”
