LAS VEGAS — Caught up with freshman Kobi Simmons last night in the Arizona locker room with a couple of other reporters to talk about his role lately with the Arizona Wildcats and how he’s coping with the reduced minutes.
In the last two games, Simmons played only five minutes at ASU and six minutes against Colorado here Thursday night. He averages 26.2 minutes a game, but that role has diminished as of late.
To his credit, Simmons fielded question after question from inquiring media about the development. He answered every question in a forthright manner.
